The purpose of the event is to honor all American heroes, both military and civilian, in remembrance of the terrorist attacks on the United States of America on September 11, 2001. However, it is not limited to 9/11, it covers all USA conflicts, including WWI, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Desert Storm, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, etc. An exciting program is planned.
Needless to say, we will need to receive all info for the program participants, i.e. proper name spelling, titles, credentials, etc. for the printed program. If you are planning to participate, please let us know asap.
We are also in need of financial sponsorship. As you know, we are simply a bunch of patriotic volunteers, under the umbrella of a local non-profit 501 (c ) (3) organization, dependant completely on donations. Our guidance this year is provided by SONG Productions, Inc., a Christian organization dedicated to the betterment of the Helena community.
If you are led to volunteer your services, products, finances, prayers, or able to assist in any other way, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all the supporters, volunteers, and sponsors of the previous years. Business support and volunteerism are necessary and vital to make a community event like this a reality. |

Unnecessary Farce
Grand Street Theatre
More Details
he setting is two adjoining rooms in an economy motel. It is early morning. Two inexperienced police officers, Eric Sheridan and Billie Dwyer, have been sent to videotape a meeting between the local Mayor and the town’s accountant, with the aim of uncovering an embezzlement scheme. But the day is not starting off well.
The Mayor is accompanied by Agent Frank – the head of Town Hall security – an impressively nervous man who warns the officers that anyone who dares to try to find the missing money will incur the wrath of a local mafia called the Scottish Clan. Agent Frank speaks with particular fear of a man named Todd – “the Highland hit man” – a formidable villain, who always dons a kilt and plays the bagpipes before making a kill.
Will the embezzled money be recovered? Can Billie be saved before Todd plays the bagpipes? Will Eric and Karen get to have sex? And can the cops manage to capture the crooks without resorting to… Unnecessary Farce? |

Children Of Eden
Grand Street Theatre
More Details
Book by John Caird
Music by Stephen Schwartz
Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz
Based on a concept by Charles Lisanby
From Stephen Schwartz (“Godspell” and “Pippin”) and John Caird of “Les Miserables” comes a joyous and inspirational musical about parents, children and faith… not to mention centuries of unresolved family business!
Freely based on the story of Genesis, “Children Of Eden” is a frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the “Father” who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that “the hardest part of love… is letting go.” |
