About Us... _http://www.archiebray.org. The Archie Bray Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enrichment of the ceramic arts. The Bray offers artist residencies and workshops to potters and ceramic sculptors from all over the world, as well as ceramics classes for adults and children throughout the year. Founded in 1951, the Bray is located on the grounds of the former Western Clay Manufacturing Company just west of Helena on Country Club Avenue. Also on site is the Bray Clay Business, selling ceramic materials, equipment and supplies. An annual exhibition of the current resident artist's work is on display during the summer from mid June to mid July. Throughout the year the Bray Sales Gallery is open daily, 10am-5pm Monday through Saturday, and 1-5pm on Sunday. A self-guided walking tour of the 26-acre site is available anytime during daylight hours. Guided tours for larger groups are available by appointment. About Us... The Clay Arts Guild of Helena is a non-profit community group made up of clay enthusiasts of all skill levels. The mission of the guild is "to promote the ceramic arts within Helena and surrounding community by providing support and education through individual and community workspace, classes, seminars and shared resources." The Guild is open to memmbers 24 hours/day and offers artist rental space for potters and sculptors on a month-to-month basis. The Guild also offers classes for all levels of potters and sculptors as well as workshops from well-known artists.
