Health Care
St. Peter's Hospital provides obstetrics, surgery, emergency services, ambulance services, a comprehensive cancer treatment center, and a full range of diagnostic services including the recent addition of a spiral CT, a stereo-tactic breast biopsy equipment, and a new MRI machine. Fort Harrison Veterans Hospital, one of two in the state, is minutes away. Shodair Hospital specializes in psychiatric care and is an internationally known genetics center as well. Helena is also home to 4 nursing home facilities, including the Waterford and Hunters Pointe.
